Lovers of folklore culture are due to congregate in St John later this month for the arrival of the Jersey Folk Festival.

Islanders are invited to enjoy a full day of live folk performances, activities and “folk-inspired revelry” at the Jersey Folk Festival on the 15th November.

The event will take place at L’Auberge Farm House from 13:00 to 22:30 in two halves: one family-friendly and the other adults-only.

The festival was curated by ArtHouse Jersey in collaboration with local folk creatives Colin Lever, Jo Thorpe and Tom Oxenham.

The line-up…

  • Colin Lever – Bringing sing-along spirit and island storytelling, with wit and warmth.
  • Colin & Ross – Accordion and Jèrriais traditions interwoven in spirited, home-grown harmony.
