Island Music and the Jersey Opera House have announced one of the first events to take place at the theatre following its £12.7 million refurbishment.
Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison of Ocean Colour Scene are set to host an “intimate acoustic performance” at the Opera House this November.
The show is the first in a new partnership between Island Music and Jersey Opera House which aims to “restore Jersey’s status as a must-visit destination” for touring artists.
Mr Fowler described the shows as “a real tonic” and a “great chance to look the audience in the eye and interact with them on a more personal basis than ever before”.
After a “sold-out show” at The Drift Bar last year, Island Music said the duo “vowed to return”.

The music business added that the reopening of the Opera House was the “perfect opportunity”, and it marked a “new chapter for live music on the island”.
Island Music owner Paul Sharkey said: “As a lifelong fan of Ocean Colour Scene, it’s an absolute honour to be promoting another show with Simon and Oscar.
“But more than that, I’m incredibly proud to be working with Jersey Opera House to usher in a new era for live music in Jersey.”
He added: “The island has been crying out for a venue of this calibre and with the Opera House back in action, we can finally bring top-tier talent to this beautiful venue.
“This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to build on this partnership in the years to come.”
Rebecca Stanier, Opera House Programme Manager, said: “It’s fantastic to be restoring our local partnerships, working with Island Music is one we hope to continue to build, enabling our audience both old and new to have access to brilliant concerts such as Simon Fowler and Oscar Harrison of Ocean Colour Scene.
“The Opera House is perfect for these intimate shows, and we can’t wait for their visit.”
