A solo artist from Jersey pursuing his musical career in the UK has released a Valentine’s-themed song teasing his debut EP coming out later this year.
27-year-old Harrison Mayo’s new single ‘Quarter to 3’ has claimed airtime on Radio 1Xtra and been dubbed Track Of The Week by BBC Introducing since its release earlier this month.
Harrison also performed the song while opening for another rising musician, Justin Peng, at a sold-out show at The Lower Third in London, promoted by Live Nation.
He explained that the track is the first to be released that will also feature on his debut EP, Mirage, which he hopes to release in June.
“I’m excited for it,” he told Express.
“I’m trying to get on to bigger shows – I want to keep the momentum going in 2025.”
Harrison added that he wanted to represent Jersey “as much as possible”, citing cover art for his music shot in the island as an example.
