Jersey-based singer-songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan is celebrating 60 years in music with a UK tour this autumn.
The Irish musician behind hits including Alone Again (Naturally), Clair, Get Down and Nothing Rhymed will perform songs spanning his career alongside new material from his forthcoming studio album.
Mr O’Sullivan first found major success with Nothing Rhymed in 1970 and has since collected 16 Top 40 records, including six number ones.
His songwriting career has also earned him three Ivor Novello Awards – including Songwriter of the Year – as well as three Grammy nominations.
Growing Old… Disgracefully?
The 2026 tour, billed Celebrating 60 Years of Music, comes ahead of the release of Mr O’Sullivan’s 21st studio album, On The Record, which is due out on 6 November.
The 13-track album includes the new single ‘Growing Old Disgracefully’, as well as ‘Is That You?’, a duet with Andrea Corr.
Mr O’Sullivan’s concerts will combine material from the new record with songs from his extensive back catalogue, offering audiences a look back at a songwriting career spanning six decades.
The UK tour began on 1 September at Malvern Theatres and continues through November, with dates including Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Bristol, Liverpool and Portsmouth.
The tour will conclude at the London Palladium on 8 November.
