David Lumb appeared in the Royal Court on Friday, where he pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charge of possession with intent to supply the class A drug.

It’s alleged that, in March of this year, Mr Lumb had cocaine in his possession and that he intended to supply it to someone else.

Advocate Martin Elks, representing Mr Lumb, indicated his client’s plea to the charge.

Crown Advocate Richard Pedley appeared for the prosecution and a trial date was listed for 8 January next year.

Royal Court Commissioner Sir Michael Birt presided over the hearing, accompanied by Jurats Olsen and Pitman.

Mr Lumb has been remanded in custody as he awaits his next court appearance.
