Officers said the alleged scuffle between three men in Bath Street took place around 18:00.
“One suspect has been described as approximately 23-24 years old, medium build with short brown hair. He was wearing all black and carrying a black backpack,” they said in an appeal for more information.
They added: “It is believed that two people recorded the incident with their phone from inside the café however these people have not yet been located and have not yet come forward.”
While one of the men was hurt, Police said his injuries were “minor” and didn’t require medical treatment.
Police said described one of the men involved as having sustained “minor” injuries which did not require medical treatment.
