A 31-year-old man has admitted stealing silver coins and silver bars from a St Helier property.

Mark Benjamin Blackburn had previously pleaded guilty to three assaults and one grave and criminal assault, but on Friday told the Royal Court that he had also committed larceny.

He is due to be sentenced by the Inferior Number of the Royal Court on Friday 9 January 2026 and was remanded in custody.

Blackburn was represented by Advocate Allana Binnie. Crown Advocate Luke Sette was prosecuting.

The Deputy Bailiff, Robert MacRae, was presiding.
