On the first day of a trial forecast to last two weeks, Mr Warn yesterday afternoon stood to hear the indictment against him read by the Royal Court Greffier.
His counsel, Advocate James Bell, formally entered pleas of ‘not guilty’ to the murder charge and to two further charges of perverting the course of justice.

It is alleged that Mr Warn knowingly and voluntarily gave false evidence on 15 May 2018 in the Parish of St. Helier and on 23 May 2018 in the Parish of St. Brelade to Police investigating the alleged murder of Hungarian national Ms Besenyei.
The jury of six men and six women was empanelled and took their oaths before being asked to return to Court on Tuesday morning.
The case against Mr Warn officially opens this morning after which the Court will adjourn for visits to sites involved in the case.
