As 2025 comes to an end, Express caught up with St Saviour Constable Kevin Lewis about his highs and lows of 2025 and what he wants to see in the parish next year…
What have been the highlights of 2025?
Constable Lewis underlined “hosting our Liberation 80 event in our refurbished recreation ground next to the church” as one of the high points for 2025.
He also mentioned “buying an additional cottage in our parish housing stock to rent to a local family” and “receiving permission from parishioners to apply for planning permission for a carpark and parish park behind the parish hall” as some of his wins for the year.
What is on your ‘wish list’ for your parish in 2026?
The Constable mentioned awaiting more family events and farmers markets in the next year, as well as “looking forward to bringing all plans to fruition”.
