Pier Road is currently closed to allow Jersey Water to carry out “emergency repairs” to the water mains network.
Islanders are still able to get to Pier Road car park via Mount Bingham, the company said.
Jersey Water said it is working as quickly as possible to get the road open again.
The water utility company apologised for any inconvenience caused.
