The assault, which is being described as “minor”, occurred on Friday 8 December around 16:00.
It involved an 18-year-old male and a 27-year-old woman, and took place on Clos de l’Atlantique in the area of Mont de la Pulente, St Brelade.
The woman sustained no injuries.

Police are now looking to speak with the driver of a jeep-style vehicle, which was in the area at the time of the assault.
