Police are appealing for information after an alleged assault involving an 11-year-old cyclist and a man in his 40s took place last weekend in St Helier.

The incident occurred at around 4.50pm on Sunday 30 November at the junction of Rouge Bouillon and La Pouquelaye, near the gated entrance to College Gardens.

Police described the man as white and bald.

Several passers-by were reported to have intervened during the incident.
