Young islanders’ most requested presents from Father Christmas have been revealed by Jersey Post following their letter delivery service from the island to the North Pole.

Over 1,500 letters were processed by the service from local children who took the opportunity to write to Father Christmas for free.

Hoping they will not end up on his naughty list, the most wanted gifts were bikes, lego, beyblades, dolls, football kits, iPhones, and items featuring popular characters including KPop demon hunters, Lilo and Stitch, and Pokémon.

Jersey Post also said that the most unusual gift request was tins of baked beans, as it was the letter writer’s favourite food.

Several parents also requested holidays from Father Christmas, and a few children took a punt and asked him for a pony.

The company also shared some of the best quotes from the letters safely delivered in time for Christmas Day:

  • “I love you Santa, you’re the best”
  • “I don’t want anything right now this year, so please surprise me reasonably”
  • “I have been a little naughty, but I’d still like some toys”
  • “I just want my granny to get better”
  • “You have the best job in the world. You are amazing and I really adore you!”
