The works, which is being undertaken by local civil construction firm Brenwall and UK-based Volker Fitzpatrick, will take up to three months to complete. The project will involve the removal and replacement of a section of the current concrete taxiway.

Ports of Jersey is funding the £800,000 budget for the project, which they described as “essential maintenance”.
The work will not affect operational activities and passenger journeys. It will be carried out during the week and on Saturday mornings during daylight hours, but it is not anticipated that any work will need to be done at night.
During the period when the ‘Bravo’ taxiway is ‘closed’, aircrafts will be redirected via an alternative route on and off the runway.
