This year, islanders raised over £30,000 to help bridge a “shortfall in financial support” and ensure the Air Display took place in 2024.
Faced with costs that have “increased substantially”, organisers have now started a drive for sponsors for the 2025 event, which is set to take place on Thursday 11 September.
Sponsors are being offered the opportunity to fly in “a legendary display aircraft”, and VIP hospitality packages – including airside access to the displays at the Airport.
If sponsors come forward, the 2025 edition of the Air Display will feature a four hour show along with community zones and a “STEM-focused area” that aims to encourage young people into engineering.
Organisers added that “in line with Jersey’s Net Zero ambitions”, they were “looking to work with local partners” on carbon offsetting.
