Have you noticed a wave of pink sweeping across town?

Charity ABC Jersey have launched a community-wide campaign to raise awareness and show support for islanders affected by breast cancer.

Local businesses have been invited to join in the Pink Window Parade by decorating windows using means such as flowers, crafts or artwork to help turn the island pink.

100 local establishments have already signed up to take part, with pink displays ranging from bunting, stickers and feathers… to inflatable flamingoes.

Those who get involved are asked to make a donation and encourage others to do so too a as a way of supporting ABC to continue its mission of offering financial, practical and emotional support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

But the charity initiative isn’t limited to retailers – and organisers want to encourage islanders to decorate their windows at home too.

Anyone who shares an image of their pink window display by tagging @ABCJersey on social media or through email will be entered into a draw.
