25th December – The first day of Christmas…
On the first day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me a kestrel hovering.

Betty has been in the shelter’s care for a few months and St John’s Manor has been helping staff look after her.
26th December – The second day of Christmas…
On the second day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

Milo & Maxwell are two of the shelter’s residents.
27th December – The third day of Christmas…
On the third day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

The JSPCA says: “Our Christmas would be made if we could find a home for this cheeky trio: Cheech, Chong & Klaus.”
28th December – The fourth day of Christmas…
On the fourth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

If you also think that ‘A house is not a home without a hamster,’ maybe you could offer Buddy, Lemiwinks, Azazel or Fox a new home?
29th December – The fifth day of Christmas…
On the fifth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

30th December – The sixth day of Christmas…
On the sixth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

Those yappy furry residents are currently being cared for at the shelter.
31st December – The seventh day of Christmas…
On the seventh day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

This crew will get to spread their wings in the wild in the New Year.
1st January – The eighth day of Christmas…
On the eighth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me eight terrapins swimming, seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

Stripey, Lumpy, Shady, Sunny, Boris, Brian, Tommy and Beasty are all looking for their permanent home.
2nd January – The ninth day of Christmas…
On the ninth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me nine staff singing, eight terrapins swimming, seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

The JSPCA said: “This is some of our amazing team who care for the animals day in and day out.”
3rd January – The tenth day of Christmas…
On the tenth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me ten Guinea pigs squealing, nine staff singing, eight terrapins swimming, seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

Ginger and Cornelius are currently looking for separate forever homes. “Guinea pigs are like potato chips, you can’t have just one!,” says the staff at JSPCA.
4th January – The eleventh day of Christmas…
On the eleventh day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me 11 ducklings waddling, ten Guinea pigs squealing, nine staff singing, eight terrapins swimming, seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

This large group was in the JSPCA’s care over the summer.
5th January – The twelfth day of Christmas…
On the twelfth day of Christmas, the JSPCA gave to me 12 rabbits jumping, 11 ducklings waddling, ten Guinea pigs squealing, nine staff singing, eight terrapins swimming, seven pigeons crewing, six dogs barking, five cats purring, four hamsters chewing, three ferrets frolicking, two Daschunds yapping and a kestrel hovering.

Louie, Loki, Dasher, Dancer, Flopsy, Muffin, Wanda, Natasha, Peaches, Mia, Lola, Patchy and six other rabbits are currently at the shelter.
