Police said the alleged row took place along La Route De La Liberation on the harbour-side pathway adjacent to Victoria Apartments around 01:50 on Saturday (7 August).
In an appeal for more information, the Force said: “Officers were called to a group of males involved in fight on La Route De La Liberation, St Helier, close to Victoria and Albert Place Apartments on the road approaching the Elizabeth Harbour. One male required hospital treatment and was later released.
“Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the assault, who have subsequently been bailed following interview, and enquiries are still ongoing at this stage.”
Anyone who saw what happened, had a vehicle with a dashcam in the area or who has more information is urged to call 612612 or make an anonymous report via the Crimestoppers website.
