While Saska is currently in a guardian home, Red is staying at the kennels, and the JSPCA team is keen to find them a loving family.

Saska is an 11-year old female Husky cross.
The “bundle of fluff” – as the team calls her – loves going on walks, exploring, and sniffing everything she can.
She is is looking for a home with outdoor access where she will be able to explore the garden and sunbathe in the summer months.
She also likes sitting out in the rain as well and will do “anything” for cheese, JSPCA Veterinary Department Manager Jenna Baker said.

“Saska can live with cats who are used to dogs,” Jenna explained.
“Unfortunately, she can’t live with other dogs, however she can go on walk with other sensible dogs. She can live with children of all ages depending on introduction at the JSPCA.”
Meanwhile, Red is a three-year-old German Short-haired Pointer.
His favourite toy is a tennis ball, and his special trick is managing to fit three of them in his mouth.

He loves coming down to the beach, running around and playing in the sea. He is also very fond of people and cuddles.
Red is looking for an adult-only home, preferably with no other animals, even though he can get on with other dogs on walks.
Anyone wishing to adopt Saska or Red can get in touch with the JSPCA online or at 724331.
