A Jersey-born actress has featured in the second episode of the reboot of beloved American sitcom Scrubs.
Former JCG student Gigi Neil appears in the second episode of the new series as a “gorgeous bartender” in a number of cutaway scenes that Scrubs is renowned for alongside lead Zach Braff.
Ms Neil was born in Jersey before moving to New York to pursue an acting career.
Since then, she has performed on stage, on television, done stunt-work, voice overs and performance capture for video games.
Recently, she appeared in two episodes of Netflix show Virgin River.
Scrubs is a medical-comedy set in Sacred Heart Hospital and stars Braff as John ‘JD’ Dorian. The original series ran for nine seasons between 2001 and 2010 before being brought back earlier this year.
New episodes, including the one featuring Ms Neil, are available to watch in Jersey on Disney+.
On social media, Ms Neil said: “Scrubs is back! What a dream to get to work on Episode 2 with the hilarious and kind Zach Braff and team.”
