A student from Jersey College for Girls is set to run five 50km ultramarathons across five consecutive days in a bid to raise money for a local cancer charity.
Year 10 pupil Emily Paton will run a total of 250km – the approximate distance from London to Manchester – in five days next month.
She is aiming to complete the challenge during October half term, running each day from Tuesday 28 October until Saturday 1 November 2025.
Emily not only hopes to raise money and awareness for a fantastic charity but also to develop her own resilience, physical endurance, discipline and mental toughness
