After injury caused an upset on the leaderboard, Mickey Haimes stormed ahead to claim his first All Terrain Challenge victory.
James Priest was leading division one after three races, but he pulled out injured from the fourth, leaving Haimes to claim the men’s gold with fellow division one runner Katie Birch taking the women’s prize.
The week-long running challenge sees competitors conquer different terrains and distances.
This year’s 30th anniversary event saw 150 runners sign up for the seven day challenge.

Split into divisions after the first two races, the competitors took part in two cliff races, a road race, a park run, a track competition, and a hill climb, before a race around Herm.
Andrew Zabiela and Ben Langlois came second and third overall in division one, with Liz Chalmers and Lucy Garner coming second and third in the women’s competition, having both performed strongly in division three.
Division two’s top three were Daniel Legge, James Plumley, and Nick Hynes, with Clement Le Pelley, Chris O’Neill, and Dan Hunter taking the podium places in division three.
Matthew Lomas-Lloyd, Ruairi Harnden, and Zachary Buttle were the top three in division four, with Herbert Settimba, Dan Carre, and Katy Hodgetts leading division five.
The leading three in division six were Derren Loveridge, Jennifer Mennim, and Alison Lihou.

Organised by Geoff King and Brett Dewey, and sponsored by Deloitte, the event marked its 30th anniversary this year and it was hinted that it might be the final one.
However, Mr King has shared provisional dates for next year’s competition with the All Terrain Challenge likely to return on 18 July 2027.
