125 people have signed up to run or walk 10 miles around Sark this weekend.
The organisers say the ‘Sark 10’ is “one of the most scenic races in the Channel Islands” across a “challenging route”.
A further 20 adults have signed up for a 5k trail run, with a shorter children’s race too.
Now in its 44th year, the Sark 10 trail loops around the entire island – crossing the Coupee twice with a loop around Little Sark as well.
Runners and walkers from across the Channel Islands are among those signed up, with visitors from the UK, Ireland, France and beyond all represented in past years too.
The organisers take entries on the day, at Le Grand Dixcart (next door to Stocks) from 10:00 with walker setting off from 11:00 and runners from 12:00.
Full details and online registration are available via the Facebook event page or directly at the SiEntries website.
Entrants for the event are limited to 200 with all profits going towards local charities.
