Aldershot, Farnham & District athlete, Louise Small won the overall title in the women’s competition at Guernsey’s annual Easter running festival after winning the 5k, cross country, and 10k races.

Small won the competition 15-years ago before returning to comprehensively claim this year’s title.

Her 5k race on Good Friday saw her run from L’eree to Vazon in a new female record of 15:44.

She completed the Keith Falla Memorial Full Course in 27:45 on Saturday, before claiming the 10k title in 34:05 on Easter Monday.

Jersey teenager Bradley Andrews-Callec took the overall male title in the EY Easter Running Festival after finishing second in the 5k on Good Friday, before winning Saturday’s cross country and Easter Monday’s 10k.

His Jersey Spartans team mate Luke Holmes set a new 5k record in 14:15, with Andrews-Callec just behind him in 14:27.

Andrews-Callec then ran the cross country in 25:07 and the 10k in 30:43 to claim the men’s overall title.

Guernsey’s annual easter running festival saw hundreds of people competing in four races over the four days.

Sponsored by EY and supported by 60 volunteers this year’s festival raised money for Bright Beginnings.
