Hannah Silcock’s performance over the weekend included 14 singles wins out of 15 matches, culminating in a 3-1 victory in the final against Ireland’s Mia O’Rahilly Egan.

This recent triumph adds to Silcock’s growing list of achievements as a rising star in British table tennis.

In July, she celebrated her 16th birthday by winning her first-ever Island Games gold medal alongside her sister with a 4-0 victory over Guernsey in the women’s doubles.

This was Jersey’s first-ever table tennis team gold.

This victory followed Silcock’s “standout performances” at The Commonwealth Games last year, where she had back-to-back wins at the age of 15.
