Police have confirmed that they are investigating an "unexpected death of a female" following an incident in St Helier this morning.
Multiple emergency services were seen in Ann Street just after 07:00 this morning.
In a statement issued at 10:28, police said: "Following calls to the emergency services control room this morning, the States of Jersey Police is dealing with the unexpected death of a female in a private address in St Helier.
"This remains under investigation and a report will be submitted to the Deputy Viscount in due course."
