A new Italian-inspired café and restaurant has recently opened in the heart of town, offering both dine-in and takeaway options.
Cucina Jersey, which recently opened its doors opposite the town hall, promises to serve freshly prepared, unprocessed food made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Cucina is an expansion of the R-Fresh business which has operated healthy lunch spots in Charing Cross and New Street since its launch in 2018.
However, the owners explained that the new eatery puts more emphasis on "comforting" and "hearty" food options when compared with its "healthier" sister.
Cucina's menu will include a 'Grab & Go' selection of salads, soups, focaccia, and breakfast rolls, as well as a range of hot dishes including freshly cooked pasta specials and lasagna.
The Italian-inspired café and restaurant will also offer unique dishes like arancini that are not widely available on the island.

The interior design of the building showcases local craftsmanship by V&V Builders with an art deco style, clean aesthetic and copper tiles.
The venue was previously occupied by H Letto & Son Jewellers until 2020, when owner Colin Letto sadly passed away. He had been working at the historic store for more than 60 years, having joined in his late teens before taking it on from his father.
The "grand opening" of Cucina was held last month – featuring entertainment from Flair Entertainment and 20% off vouchers – and received a "great response", according to the owners.
