A finance company raised nearly £200 for charity by bringing their pooches into work.
‘Bring Your Dog To Work Day’ – held on 26 June – saw members of the KPMG team bring their four-legged friends into work for the day to raise money for the GSPCA.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said it was “fantastic to see so many members of the team getting involved and enjoying the day with their dogs”.
“The photograph they shared perfectly captures what ‘Bring Your Dog To Work Day’ is all about, with lots of happy dogs enjoying time together in the workplace.”
Reduce stress
The day also demonstrated the benefits dogs can bring to the workplace.
Mr Byrne explained: “One of the aims of the day is to highlight the many benefits that dogs can bring to the workplace where it is appropriate and suitable to do so.
“Dogs can help reduce stress, encourage wellbeing and create positive interactions amongst colleagues,” he added.

The money will help support the charity’s #GSPCABiggestBuildAppeal as it builds its new headquarters, which includes plans for a new kennel facility.
Mr Byrne added: “Every pound raised helps us continue our 24/7 work caring for animals in need across Guernsey.”
