Bank Aston, a bank serving the international offshore community has appointed Nick Leale as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr Leale was the former Managing Director of Northern Trust’s Guernsey banking business, bringing with him more than 25 years of senior banking experience to the Bank Aston senior team.
Mr Leale will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s operational strategy, business support functions, and the continued development of its operating model.
Earlier in his career, he drove significant growth in revenues across the full suite of banking solutions, while also leading the development of new client propositions and expanding of business capabilities across jurisdictions.
Mr Leale has a strong track record of delivering major transformation programmes and rejoins Bank Aston after supporting them with their licensing application throughout 2024.
