Having joined the firm in 2016, she is said to have “developed a strong reputation in both non-contentious and contentious trust matters”.

She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011 and is a member of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. Ms McPartland subsequently retrained as a solicitor and was admitted to the roll of England and Wales in 2018.

She is now re-joining the non-contentious side of the Private Client Team alongside Victoria Yates.

On her new role at Collas Crill Ms McPartland said: “I am really looking forward to getting back to the front line! Through my time within the business development team, as well as on my secondment, I have had the good fortune to build some great connections and see things from a client’s perspective looking in.

“It has also afforded me the opportunity to work closely with the partners at Collas Crill and gain a real insight into the workings of a business beyond the legal considerations.

“Having now experienced being on all sides of the client relationship, I understand and appreciate the need to offer pragmatic advice in line with our core value of being ‘easy to do business with’.”
