The GY Business Diary is aimed at becoming the central hub listing all corporate events, helping to ensure that seminars, webinars, CPD sessions, conferences and corporate entertainments do not clash.

Nichole Culverwell, Managing Director of Black Vanilla, explains: “The current situation has meant that all physical events are currently on hold, however, local firms are becoming increasingly creative in how they communicate, educate and engage with the local business community.

“As such, there has been a significant increase in virtual events and training sessions being delivered online. So, it’s crucial that companies can find dates that don’t clash with those of their competitors.

“We also anticipate that many events will be rescheduled for later in the year; we hope this calendar will help companies to work around dates that have already been taken.”

The GY Business Diary, hosted on Black Vanilla’s website, allows islanders to see if there are any upcoming events, training sessions or webinars that are of interest to them.

Black Vanilla will manage the diary and ask organisers to email their events to the team who then will let them know if there is another event already listed at that date and time. Once the event is confirmed it will be added to the calendar.

Currently, the team at Black Vanilla will enter all event information; however, in time, the functionality of the calendar will allow for input by all event organisers.

If you have an upcoming event, webinar or training session that you would like included in the GY Business Diary, email all the details to hello@black-vanilla.gg.
