A former architectural technician is hoping her transferrable skills will give her a blueprint for success at a local interior design firm.
Leonie Allez has joined Cucine Kitchens & Bedrooms as a Junior Designer, after a successful early career in architecture.
In her new role, she will work closely with clients to design beautifully considered bespoke kitchens and interior spaces, transforming ideas into functional, elegant and expertly crafted interiors that complement Cucine’s established reputation for exceptional kitchen, bedroom and living space design.
Owner Nadine Gavey said she was “thrilled to welcome Leonie to the team”.
She added: “Her architectural background gives her a strong understanding of space, functionality and design, while her passion for interiors makes her a fantastic addition to our business.
“As demand for bespoke, design-led kitchens and interiors continues to grow, Leonie’s expertise will help us offer even greater value and inspiration to our clients.”
Passion
The appointment reflects Cucine’s continued growth and commitment to providing clients with a comprehensive design service, from initial concepts through to fully realised interiors.
Ms Allez said the role was “a great opportunity to combine my background in architecture with my passion for interior design, and I’ve already felt so welcome”.
She said she was “looking forward to learning, growing, and helping bring our clients’ ideas to life”.
The expansion of the team comes alongside an exciting period of growth for Cucine, which continues to broaden its product offering through partnerships with leading design brands. Recent additions include the distinctive British interiors brand Buster + Punch, renowned for its luxury architectural hardware, lighting and home accessories.
Looking ahead, Cucine is also preparing to introduce a new collection of traditional, bespoke English in-frame kitchens, offering clients beautifully crafted cabinetry that combines timeless design with exceptional craftsmanship.
The enhanced offering will provide homeowners with even greater choice, whether seeking contemporary Italian-inspired designs or classic English kitchen styles tailored to their individual requirements.
Ms Allez’s appointment marks another significant step in Cucine’s ongoing investment in design excellence, innovation and customer service.
