Since being founded in 2009, the design-led Cucine has completed more than 300 projects locally, with an ethos centered around Italian craftsmanship and timeless design, and with the business reporting continued growth, Jim Harratt has joined the team.

Cucine’s new Lead Designer brings with him almost a decade of experience as a Kitchen Designer in London, with a specialty in “high-end projects” according to his new employers.

He has a background in construction, and has previously worked on numerous premium kitchens, including the one in the film ‘Black Bag’, which starred Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender.

Speaking of his new employment, Mr Harratt said: “I’m very excited to be joining Cucine at a time when there is such a strong focus on quality, design and craftsmanship.

“Moving to Guernsey marks an exciting new chapter in my career, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work closely with clients and create kitchens that are both beautiful and practical.”

Nadine Gavey, the owner of Cucine, added: “Jim’s experience in high-end kitchen design and his technical understanding make him a great fit for Cucine.

“His approach aligns perfectly with our commitment to thoughtful design, excellent materials and exceptional service, and I’m excited to welcome him to the company.”
