Equiom has made two appointments to its leadership team in Guernsey as it continues to build on its client-base and invest in the island.
Sharon Rogers has been appointed as Executive Director in its Private Wealth & Family Office, while Allister Carey becomes a Director in Corporate Services.
Marie McNeela, Managing Director in Guernsey and Head of Channel Islands at Equiom, said: “Sharon and Allister bring an exceptional breadth of technical, leadership and client experience to our Guernsey team.
“Their appointments reflect our continued investment in Guernsey and our commitment to building on the business’ heritage, established client relationships and deep local expertise.”
Mrs Rogers brings with her more than 30 years’ of experience.
She has worked in the international fiduciary and private wealth sector.
With expertise in international structuring, family governance, regulatory compliance and strategic leadership her new role will see her work closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepeneurs and their advisers to provide tailored financial solutions.
She said: “Equiom has a strong opportunity to build on the depth of expertise already within the Guernsey team and across the wider Group.
“Clients and their advisers are increasingly looking for providers that combine technical capability with agility, strong governance and a genuinely personal approach.
“I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to strengthen those relationships and deliver solutions that support clients’ long-term objectives.”
Mr Carey has worked in Guernsey’s trust and company sector for 20 years.
He will now lead strategic growth and performance as Director of Equiom’s Corporate Services and Employee Retirement & Rewards offering.
Bringing experience in complex corporate and pension structures for international clients, he will hold responsibility for client service delivery, team development, governance and operational excellence.
Mrs McNella added: “Guernsey continues to play an important role in Equiom’s international network, and we are well positioned to support clients and advisers seeking experienced, relationship-led support across increasingly complex private wealth and corporate requirements.”
