Guernsey Housing Association (GHA) has promoted a local man to a managerial role after 10 years with the organisation.
Tyler McKane’s promotion to Maintenance and Asset Manager reflects GHA’s commitment to supporting the growth and professional development of its team, a spokesperson said.
In his new role, Mr McKane will oversee the maintenance and investment needs of GHA’s rental and partial ownership properties, working with suppliers and contractors to ensure homes remain safe, well-maintained and compliant.
Mr McKane joined GHA as a Housing Assistant in 2016 and has since held three different roles within the organisation: “I have had the privilege of working with an incredible team over the past decade, and their support has played a big part in my progression at GHA.
“I’m looking forward to leading the team and building on the great work already being done across our properties and developments.”
Vic Slade, Chief Executive of GHA, said: “Tyler’s commitment to GHA, continued professional development and dedication to our values made him a standout candidate for this position.
“Tyler has built considerable experience working with suppliers, contractors and consultants during his time here, and that experience will be invaluable in his new role.”
