The GSPCA is recruiting for a brand-new role to support the “day-to-day running” of the animal shelter in St Andrew’s.
The Animal Care Manager position would sit between the GSPCA Manager and the wider team, helping to ensure the “smooth running of the charity’s operations”, as well as deputising for the Manager.
Manager Steve Byrne said the GSPCA was “delighted” to be recruiting for the position, which would “help strengthen our team structure by providing a vital link between management and our dedicated staff and volunteers”.
“The successful candidate will work closely with the GSPCA Manager and help oversee key areas including team management, rota organisation, animal welfare operations, and supporting the overall strategic aims of the charity,” he added.
The closing date for applications is 30 June, with an application pack available online.
The charity was also recruiting for several other roles, as well as encouraging new volunteers, Mr Byrne said.
There will be an induction evening for anyone interested in volunteering at 18:30 on Thursday 4 June.
