Guernsey Finance has announced that the CEO, International of Canaccord Wealth is joining its board of directors.
The appointment of Andy Finch – who has more than 40 years’ experience and was named CEO of the Year at the 2022 WealthBriefing Channel Island Awards and Personality of the Year (Industry) at the 2023 International Investment Awards – concludes a recruitment process which started in September.
He joins Glen Tonks and Deputy Rhona Humphreys as new non-executive members.
Since joining Canaccord in 2002, Mr Finch has held several senior leadership roles, most recently Managing Director of Canaccord Wealth Funds.
He has also overseen the firm’s international expansion including opening branches in Singapore and the Dubai International Finance Centre.
Mr Finch currently chairs the International Executive Committee and represents the International division on the firm’s Strategic Oversight Committee.
