The Islands Insurance Group has been celebrating after being recognised as one of the ‘best workplaces’ across the Channel Islands.
IIG was named Jersey’s Best Workplace – Large Organisation, and received the Guernsey’s Best Workplace – Career Development award.
The company said the two wins were “significant recognition of the Group’s continued focus on creating a positive, supportive and high-performing working environment at scale” while also “highlighting its strong commitment to nurturing talent and supporting long-term professional growth”.
Shirley Lester, IIG People & Culture Director said being recognised across both jurisdictions places the firm among a select group of organisations that prioritise their people as a central part of their business strategy.
“This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and passion of our entire team,” she said.
“Every challenge we’ve experienced, and the lessons learned along the way, has contributed to this milestone.”

The Best Workplace awards is a joint initiative between All Island Media and Compass HR.
The judging process considers a range of factors including employee feedback, workplace practices, leadership, and organisational culture.
IIG said this recognition highlights “the strength of (its) internal environment and its commitment to continuous improvement across both islands”.
This latest accolade builds on a strong period of recognition for the Group, following recent achievements including Chartered Insurance Broker status and accreditations from Investors in People and Investors in Customer.
