Islands Insurance won the spotlight prize for ‘Career Development’ at the first Guernsey’s Best Workplace Awards.

In both Guernsey and Jersey, Islands Insurance employs a locally based team who are “dedicated to providing specialist personal service, to give you peace of mind with insurance cover for the things that matter”.
The staff rated Islands Insurance highly in many areas, but the business ranked above others when it came to the training and development opportunities on offer.
Nearly 85% of staff said Islands Insurance offers opportunities for them in both professional studies and informal learning, while nearly 80% said they are happy with the opportunities they have to “constantly learn, develop skills, and grow”.
