Morag Herring has been appointed as the Ladies’ College’s New Vice Principal and Head of Senior School.
Ms Morag joins the college from Loughborough Grammar School, where she had been the Deputy Head, (Academic), having previously spent time as the Acting Head. Ms Morag began her career as a Biology Teacher, and then moved to Head of Science and Lead Practitioner.
Her appointment follows the retirement of the former Vice Principal, Elizabeth Bridge.
“In a very competitive field, Morag stood out not just because of her profound skills and experience but also her sense of kindness, her joyful nature and her passion and commitment to ensuring that each girl has a wonderful educational experience,” said Ladies’ College Principal Daniele Harford-Fox.
Ms Morag describes her new role as a privilege.
“I am looking forward to working with the impressive students and equally impressive staff of The Ladies’ College.
“It will be a privilege to be part of a community that provides girls with such an empowering education, promoting a culture of ambition for student achievement, both academically and in the development of broader skills and values.”
