The GSPCA would like to say a huge thank you to the team from Northern Trust who volunteered alongside at this year’s North Show.
Throughout the show, visitors stopped by the GSPCA stand to learn more about the charity’s work, find out how they could get involved and support the appeal.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Alesia, Daniella, JingJing, Jon, Karen, Chloe and Stuart from Northern Trust for giving up their time to help us at the North Show.
“Corporate volunteering provides a fantastic boost to our team and allows us to reach more people with information about animal welfare, the work we do and our #GSPCABiggestBuildAppeal.
“It was wonderful to meet so many supporters over the course of the show and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by to say hello, support our work and learn more about our plans for the future.”
The stall also featured games, information displays and opportunities for islanders to hear more about the many animals cared for by the GSPCA every year.
Tim Pellett, GSPCA Community and Training Officer, added: “The Summer Shows are always great fun and a fantastic way to meet members of the community.
“We have had another brilliant season attending events across the island and having enthusiastic volunteers from Northern Trust supporting us made a huge difference.”
