Oak Group says it’s proud to announce the promotion of 12 employees across its offices in Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Mauritius, stating that they’re recognising exceptional talent, dedication, and contribution to the business.
The promotions come as Oak transitions to private ownership under Opera. They’ve called the transition plans ‘Project Overture’. Across a five year timetable, the company says it aims to focus on sustainable growth, innovation, continued investment in its people.
In Guernsey, Rebecca Traynor has been promoted to Assistant Manager, Trust & Corporate. Ms Traynor joined Oak in 2018 as an Administrator, and was promoted to Senior Administrator in 2023. The company says this continues her strong upward trajectory within the business.
Also in Guernsey, Thomas Malagodi has been promoted to Senior Accounting Manager, having joined in 2023. Oak says in a statement that Mr Malagodi has shown aptitude for leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and now assumes oversight of the Mauritius accounts team while continuing to enhance client service standards from Guernsey.
Meanwhile in Jersey, Emily Corfield has been promoted to Senior Manager, of Funds & Corporate, whilst Sophie Le Marquand becomes a Senior Manager of Client Services. Rebecca Frain has been promoted to Senior Manager, Compliance.
Lastly for the Red side of the Channel Islands, Julian Lebaillif progresses to Administrator, Client Services.
A year into his Oak career and currently studying toward his STEP qualification, he has transitioned successfully from running his own business to building a career in private wealth.

In Mauritius, Priya Dhonneram, has been promoted to Senior Manager, Trust & Corporate, Husna Hosany has been promoted to Assistant Manager, Client Accounting, and Sarlvesh Nuckcheddy is now a Team Leader in Client Accounting. Yosha Purahoo also takes on the role of Senior Analyst.
