An Administrator from Guernsey has stepped up to the plate at the start of her career, by getting a trust management qualification after less than 18 months in the role.

Lucy Bourgaize joined Orbitus in October 2024 with no prior fiduciary experience, but has now achieved a distinction in her STEP Certificate in International Trust Management.

Louise Saltwell, Orbitus’ Trust & Corporate Manager, said: “Lucy’s progress highlights the value of structured training and early investment in professional development.”

Ms Bourgaize said the certificate was “both challenging and rewarding”.

“The qualification has given me a strong technical grounding and a clearer understanding of the sector,” she added.

“It represents an important step towards my goal of achieving full STEP membership and TEP status.”
