Resolution IT, has been providing free IT support to St John Guernsey, for both the ambulance service and the first aid charity.

St John said its old computer system made it difficult for staff and volunteers to access important information, because everything was stored in one physical place.

Resolution IT helped St John move to a “cloud” system. This means the information is now stored online, making it easier, safer, and faster for staff to access it from anywhere.

The IT company said it also gave St John a flexible payment plan to make the cost of the new system easier to manage.

Resolution IT’s Technical & Operations Director, Matt Le Patourel, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have supported St John Guernsey LBG. Their vital work makes a real difference in the community, and it’s a privilege to play a role in helping them operate more efficiently and securely.

“This partnership embodies what we stand for – proactive support, transparency, and making IT accessible and effective for all organisations, no matter their size or structure.”

Thanks to this IT support, St John said it is now working much better and can focus more on their important services to the community.

CEO, Heather Langlois added: “The cloud migration has been a game changer – it’s far more flexible, secure, and efficient. It’s transformed how we work and has made our service significantly more effective.

“The team were amazing. Everyone we worked with was supportive and took the time to ensure we really understood every step of the process, if an issue cropped up, someone was there straight away to resolve it. The whole service has been fantastic.

“This support has given us grace during a period of significant change. It’s shown us that with the right infrastructure, IT doesn’t have to cost a fortune.”
