Staff from HSBC’s Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man teams were recognised for their performance and customer experience in a “strong showing” for the islands at an international awards initiative recently hosted by the bank.

A total of 18 staff from HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man were invited to attend the bank’s ‘International Wealth and Premier Banking Americas and Europe Performance Excellence Awards’ in Barcelona last month, with six being nominated and some winning awards.

The event aim to celebrate frontline colleagues from HSBC’s teams in Europe and the Americas.

Attendees also have the opportunity to connect with leaders and peers and build skills through various training sessions, networking and other activities over the course of three days.

For the islands to have such a strong showing at a major international initiative also reflects the pivotal role we play here across the wider HSBC network
