A Channel Islands law firm has been heavily featured in the latest edition of a top directory of law firms and lawyers.

Walkers, which has offices in St Peter Port and St Helier, featured heavily in the Chambers Europe Law Guide 2026 – a ‘Who’s Who’ of the legal profession.

The guide included 15 ranked practice groups and 36 individually ranked lawyers, across the Channel Islands and Ireland, reflecting “sustained client confidence and their consistent delivery of high-quality advice across jurisdictions”, the firm said.

Fraser Hern, Head of Channel Islands, said the results reflected the “continued investment we are making across our European practice and the strength of our teams in Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey”.

Depth of talent

Guernsey’s Dispute Resolution service and Jersey Corporate & Finance team advanced into the top tier, alongside further practice-level promotions including Jersey’s Investment Funds and Trusts.

Individual lawyers were also heavily recognised, with six newly-ranked lawyers and six achieving a promotion.

This highlighted the “depth of talent across the firm”, Walkers said.

The firm also retained a number of senior individual rankings, including multiple lawyers recognised at the top of their categories, alongside continued recognition for emerging practitioners.

Delivering for clients

Mr Hern continued: “Achieving this recognition as we mark 25 years in Europe is particularly significant.

“The combination of new rankings, promotions and sustained top-tier recognition speaks to the quality of work we deliver for our clients and the depth of expertise we have built across the platform.”

This recognition followed strong performances in the Legal 500 UK 2026 guide and the Chambers Global 2026 guide.
