Guernsey charities and Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) will have access to free support sessions throughout February to assist them with the Guernsey Registry Annual Validation and Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA) Return processes.
The sessions, a collaborative effort between the Association of Guernsey Charities, the Guernsey Registry, and the ODPA, will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00 at Les Cotils, beginning on 4 February and concluding on 20 February.
Volunteers will be present at each session to provide guidance and answer questions related to the required Annual Validation and Return submissions.
With the deadline for Annual Validations and Returns approaching on 28 February, these support sessions offer a valuable opportunity for organisations to receive assistance and ensure timely compliance. Charities and NPOs are encouraged to take advantage of this resource.
Wayne Bulpitt, from the Association of Guernsey Charities, said: “We are delighted to partner with both the Guernsey Registry and the ODPA in providing these sessions to support charities in meeting their legal requirements. We are also pleased with the fantastic uptake from volunteers, most of whom will be participating as part of the Employer Supported Volunteering scheme offered by companies.”
