TCS has been named Team of the Year 2025 at the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers LUCA Awards ceremony last week.

The ICB Team of the Year Award recognises outstanding teamwork and collaboration within bookkeeping practices and financial departments. It celebrates teams that demonstrate exceptional service, innovation and collective professionalism, making a significant impact on their clients or organisations.

The judges said they were impressed by TCS’s strong culture of professional development and its commitment to nurturing new talent through its newly launched trainee scheme.

Ami Copeland, CEO of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, said: “The winning entry was fantastic, and the judges commended how TCS focuses on team development and bringing the next generation into bookkeeping by making it fun, engaging, and exciting. TCS seems to have found the secret sauce to attracting younger talent and investing in them.”

TCS Founder, Tim Chilestone, said: “Being recognised as Team of the Year is an achievement for every single member of our team. We believe the future of bookkeeping lies in giving school leavers and graduates opportunities and we’re committed to building a strong, capable team from the ground up.

“When you invest in people at the very start of their career and surround them with support, mentorship and real responsibility, they achieve great things for themselves, for our clients and for the profession as a whole.”
