Prosperity 24/7’s Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder has been awarded the Chartered Director status by the Institute of Directors.
The globally recognised qualification consists of three stages that showcase an applicant’s daily duties and how they practically apply their knowledge and skills within their role as a Director.
During the interview stage, applicants are assessed on a variety of topics including values, purpose, strategic thinking, ethics, stakeholder management and accountable leadership.
In order to qualify for the The Institute of Directors (IoD) programme, you need to have five years’ experience in a director level position, or obtain a chartered professional qualification with three years’ experience.
Candidates must also be a member of the Iod and apply for the qualification within 10 years of their completion of the IoD certificate and diploma in Company Direction.
After Geraldine Evans secured the status, Chris Clark, Prosperity 24/7’s CEO and Co-Founder praised her hard work.

Geraldine is also one of the nominees in the leadership category at this year’s Jersey TechAwards and is described as a “highly regarded leader in learning and development”.
“Her IoD qualification further cements her senior leadership skills within Jersey’s technology sector. She has been instrumental in introducing the first gender pay gap report for the sector, encouraging transparency and fairness for an industry where roles tend to be pre-dominantly male.”
“She has also been a driving force behind Prosperity 24/7’s ISO27001 certification, which is the global information security management system (ISMS) standard for providing a structured approach to safeguarding data and managing information security effectively.”
