A number of local companies have been recognised for their trust services in an industry ranking.

Praxis, HIGHVERN and Hawksford were some of the firms named in the latest eprivateclient Top Trust Companies list.

The rankings are based on a survey of over 100 private wealth fiduciary services providers worldwide, with fewer than half making the rankings across two categories: owner and non-owner managed.

Praxis, an independent private wealth and corporate services provider, was ranked as a Tier I firm.

It is one of 14 global, non-owner-managed firms to receive the top rating. It comes after Praxis was shortlisted in the STEP Private Client Awards for Trust Company of the Year (large firm) earlier this year.

“We are delighted to be recognised as a Tier I trust company. For our clients and their advisers, this is not simply a badge of honour – it represents our long-standing commitment to excellence in structuring, governance and service,” said John Medina, Group Head of Private Wealth at Praxis.

“In an era where wealth is international, family circumstances are dynamic and regulation is ever-evolving, our focus remains the same: to work alongside families and their advisers to deliver clarity, continuity and the right structure for the long term.”

He added: “We believe that the best outcomes arise when we listen closely, apply deep technical expertise and maintain the highest standards of integrity.”

Fiduciary, fund and corporate services provider HIGHVERN has also announced its inclusion in the Top Trust Companies ranking.

It was ranked Tier I on the owner-managed firms list. HIGHVERN said it highlighted its commitment to “outstanding client service in the trust and fiduciary sector.”

It follows the launch of HIGHVERN’s Private Capital Services, a “strategic evolution” of its Private Wealth Services into Private Capital.

“Being named again on the eprivateclient Top Trust Companies list reflects our team’s dedication and the trust our clients place in us,” said Naomi Rive, Group Head of Private Capital.

“It’s rewarding to see HIGHVERN’s client-first approach acknowledged on such a respected platform.”

Hawksford, a corporate, private client and fund services provider, maintained its top tier status in eprivateclient’s ranking.

The firm achieved a Tier I ranking, which the firm says comes on the back of a “highly positive year” for its private client services division.

Darren Kelland, Head of Private Client Services at Hawksford, said: “To be featured once again, and so consistently, as a top tier trust company is of course very pleasing – reflecting the achievements of our fantastic multijurisdictional team and our efforts to push the boundaries in terms of service quality and specialist expertise.

“As a firm we have also continued to pursue an ambitious growth strategy over the past year, and we remain focused on ensuring we deliver top level expertise to support private clients and families in what is a highly complex and evolving landscape.”
